These are low stall heavy duty converters for those applications where lower stall speeds and durability are a must These feature brazed fins and heavy duty sprag These units fit both the TH-350 and the Hydramatic 400 transmissions non lockup.They are excellent for heavy towing and 4x4 application where low rpm power transfer is critical.

These converters are and excellent everyday Street driver converter,They have that little extra stall over the average stock converter to add responsiveness with out in any way diminishing slower in traffic start and go drivabilty. Fuel efficiency around town with these is close to unchanged from the OEM converter. These converters also feature Brazed fins and Heavy duty sprag.

THE DRIVER

Stall for these units is in the 2300 to 2500 range. These converter are in the higher stall range necessary for true street Performance, They are not a fuel friendly as the daily, But still reasonable compromise to the daily driven street car delivering excellent torque multiplication for great additional launch While still not generating excessive heat associated with higher stall converters, These are excellent converters for the car with a moderate street cammed car when the driver docent mind a little compromise in efficiency in exchange for the added low end torque ,This unit also features heavy duty sprag and Brazed fins.
